What data we collect

Server logs

When you visit this site, our web server records standard access log data: your IP address, browser type, referring URL, the page requested, and the date and time of the request. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes and are not used for profiling or advertising.

Contact form submissions

If you submit the contact form, the data you enter (name, phone number, email address, and any message content) is sent directly to our editorial inbox. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties. We retain correspondence for up to 12 months.

Cookies

This site sets one functional cookie named bm_cookie_consent to store your cookie consent preference. This cookie contains only the value "accepted" or "rejected", has no unique identifier, and expires after 365 days. No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are set.

Images on this site are loaded from Wikimedia Commons servers (upload.wikimedia.org). Wikimedia's own privacy policy applies to any data their servers may collect from those requests. See Wikimedia Foundation Privacy Policy.

Legal basis for processing

Server log processing is based on legitimate interests (security and site performance monitoring). Contact form data is processed on the basis of your consent, given by voluntarily submitting the form. Cookie consent preference storage is a functional necessity.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of personal data held about you.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of personal data, subject to applicable retention obligations.
  • Restriction: Request that processing be limited in certain circumstances.
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability: Receive data you have provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@broadmere.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO).

Data transfers

No personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area in the course of normal site operation.
